Hi there!
I’m Lindsey, a communications professional and writer. I have a bachelor’s in public relations with an English minor, along with a master’s in biblical and theological studies.
After nearly ten years in Chicago, mostly at a community-based nonprofit working to address the challenges of our neighbors, I recently returned to my quiet, rural hometown about 60 miles from the city.
At the heart of my work is a love for unearthing stories that might otherwise go unseen—whether it’s a neighbor who quietly and consistently serves others or a piece of impact data—and bringing them to life through words and images. This has led to placements in dozens of media outlets, such as the Chicago Tribune, Block Club Chicago, WGN, ABC 7, NBC 5, and the Chicago Defender.
When I am not working, I am often enjoying the beauty of each season in my rural hometown, reading a novel or poetry, or entering the imaginative worlds of my nieces and nephew.
